  • Google for "convert ofx" and make your choice.

  • Lauren........My bank previously enabled me to download OFX type files for my accounts (checking, credit card, etc.) They discontinued the OFX file type and offered only downloads in CSV type files. I found some resources that enabled me to convert CSV files to QIF files that can easily be imported into MONEY. Here are the links: http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/27.aspx , http://xl2qif.chez-alice.fr/xl2qif_en.php and http://xl2qif.chez-alice.fr/calc2qif_en.php. I had difficulty with the XL2QIF macro for EXCEL. It may work for you, if you have EXCEL 97.

If you don't have EXCEL 97 I recommend downloading OPENOFFICE at http://www.openoffice.org/. This is a FREE suite of programs similar to Microsoft OFFICE, including a spreadsheet program that easily uses the CALC2QIF macro.

Lastly, I found a few online programs that convert data and CSV file types to QIF/OFX file types. I haven't used them, so I can't tell you how well they work. Here are the links:

  • CSV2QIF at http://www.csv2qif.com and CSV2OFX at http://www.csv2ofx.com convert your CSV (or copied from Excel) data into QIF and OFX format compatible with MS Money. Both are desktop applications, so your data will not leave your computer.

  • Thanks for the info. However, the application converters you provided links for are NOT FREE. The links I provided above are FREE.
