    Can we do wifi voip calls via a Smartphone when we use OCS2007?
    What are the requirements and does it work?

    Everyone in our company would, if it works well, receive a smartphone with wifi as a personal internal/mobile phone.

    I'm referencing to HP Ipaq 514 Voice Messenger / HTC S710 (both Windows Mobile 6 devices with WIFI).

    We were hoping for / planning the same thing but after testing it seems Communicator Mobile doesn't support voipSad

    That is correct.  Apparently there will be an update to COMO (Communicator Mobile) or the next version will support this.

     

    Personally I think a great opporutnity was missed there.

    I agree that integration with CoMo would be ideal and would imagine thats its going to be included in future releases, but remeber WM6 has Voip built in ( its just a SIP phone connection ), I'm about to try this on my test lab, OCS 2007, CCM5.1 got everything working so far apart from the Voip on WM6 device (HTC P3300)will update when have this working. If everything goes ok I'm planning on rolling out Tytan II's to all my users.
