WHS won't boot after Windows update RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm having an annoying problem with my installation of whs I downloaded the 120 day trial and instaled it on my Intel SS4200 EHW, it instals nicely without problems and it runs flawlessly, that is until I run windows update, after the update finishes the system reboots and WHS won´t start, i can see the windows progress bar sarting and after 5 seconds it hangs.
I already instaled whs 3 times with the same results, Im lost of ideas to solve this problem does anyone have a suggestion? I know i could try installing the updates from the console one by one  but they are 58, if someone as a better suggestion I wold appreciate.

  • You should install updates through the console. This installation method will get only updates that are really required for Windows Home Server. Installing updates through Windows Update or Microsoft Update can get additional updates that you don't need.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
