  • How much time have you allowed to elpase? The nested folders and contents should indeed sync. If several hours have elapsed and the sub-folder has not synchronized, please file a bug with logs from the host PC and any other PC that is not receiving the files. Are you also synschronizing with the Live Desktop? Is the sub-folder appearing there with the files inside or not? How many files are in the top level "photos" folder?

  • Yeah several hours have passed and I have tried rebooting and restarting Mesh and it made no difference.  I have my photos syncing to the Live Desktop and it is not working either.  I tried copying a file into the Photos root folder and Mesh is not detecting or syncing that file either.  One of my video clip folders is syncing but not the other one.  My documents are syncing but not photos or music.  I'll submit a bug report.  I was hoping to switch my machines to using Mesh instead of Live Sync.

  • As I noted, it *should* work. How many files *did* sync?
There is a thread from last week where apparently there are some conditions that cause a limit of 1,000 files to be hit that causes the sync to stop. I don't know how that limit is reached, but it isn't supposed to do that and the Live Mesh team plans to address that in a future update.

  • I did a count and it looks like about 400 files synced ok.  The file structure was created for the folders that did not sync but there are no files and no .wlx placeholders.  It does not appear to be a P2P thing either as I am trying to sync my photos to my live desktop and the folder and subfolders are created but contain no photos or placeholder files.

  • Well, then it is a different issue than the 1,000 file ceiling, so a bug report with logs is the way to go. If you could post the link to your submission back here, that would be great.
