    these 3 services stop running even after I restart them.

    Windows server addins infrastructure service

    Windows server identity management service

    Windows server server backup service

    this shows up in the alert viewer with instructions on how to start the services up again but when I do this somehow they stop again.

    This has made remote access to the server imposable. What can I do to fix this?

    You may check the blog - How to fix the Server Backup Service exception "One or more services are not running” for SBS 2011 Essentials, WHS 2011 and WSS 2008 R2 Essentials – and confirm that if it is applied to your problem:

    If the problem persists, is there any error message when remote access failed? 
    Also, check Event Viewer(Windows Logs - Application) and confirm that if any related event has been logged.
    Any change before this problem happened?
