Piracy Control Box Pops Up

Question
-
When I turn on my computer a microsoft piracy control box pops up and asks me to verify my copy of software before I can continue. It also asks me very specific informaion such as name, email, credit card number, and pin. Obviously very strange, but when I select to complete later it automatically shuts off. Is this in fact really needed by microsoft or is my computer infected with a virus?Friday, June 12, 2009 8:43 AM
