Everything sounds like it is within spec for files synchronized to the Live Desktop. It sounds like a problem with the display more than anything else. Not your display, but what is sent from the server to the web page display to render the active folder. Since it is happening on both browsers and randomly, too, I don't think the problem is at your end. Therefore, I suggest that you file a bug:

How long ago have you started synchronizing?
What kind of files are you synchronizing?
Size of files? Number of files? How many folders on the Live Desktop?
What is your web browser?
When you right click the folder on the Live Desktop that should have files in it and select "change sync settings" do you see that Live Desktop is set to sync for new/changed files?
When you double click a folder on the Live Desktop, what do you see?

HiThe sync started 3 days ago and the allocation gas guage slow went up representing the files uploaded. The files initially showed in the Live desktop, but then slowly started disapearing! All the files are correctly syncing with between my PCs. The files are of all varying types. The folder is large, 2.62GB containing 23,537 Files over 3,242 folders. When I open the folder in the Live Desktop it now sometimes shows no contents, sometimes some of the folders and rarely, most of them. The results vary and are the same regardless of if I view the desktop in Chrome or IE.The sync settings are listed as "When files are added or modified" for each device (including the live desktop).Thanks,James.Friday, March 20, 2009 11:07 AM
