Call Disconnect RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have install OCS with Mediation server using a Audio Codes MP-114 as the IP to PBX gateway.

We are able to make calls from Communicator successfully throught the MP-114 and our PBX.

The problem seems to be when the outside caller hangs up there is no disconnect back to Communicator.

    Any ideas?

  • Call Termination (Disconnect Supervision) settings of the FXO Gateway (your MP-114) must correspond to your analog PBX.

  • Daniel,

Thanks for the response.  I don't think it is the MP114/PBX having the problem.  We use the MP114 to interface to E2007 UM and the disconnect works fine.

I am posting a partial log from the MP114 showing it recognizes the disconnect from the PBX but is getting an error when sending the BYE to OCS.  I am not very good at SIP things so I am a little lost as to how to isolate the issue.  I have changed the actual IP addresses and domain names.  99.999.99.999 is the MP114, 99.999.99.168 is OCS.  Administrator is the user logged into the Communicator making the call.

  • Try a shorter call (e.g. 10 secs long) and report if it has some effect ?

    Regards
