This software came from Dell preloaded on the computer. I have called Microsoft and a customer service person checked my product license and said I have geniune Microsoft Office software. His advice was to reload the software. My CD Rom drive is broken and I cannot do that. Is there another solution? Below is my report. This computer was not purchased in large quantity. This is a small business that bought one computer. I don't know why this report would be given.Below is a list of the products that did not pass validation and instructions for addressing each product. Recommended approach:
- If a single product did not pass validation, take actions outlined below to get genuine Office
- If multiple products did not pass validation, identify your most needed Office product or suite and take actions outlined below to get genuine Office. Uninstall other, non-genuine Office products that are preventing you from passing validation.

Problem: The product key used to install Office has been identified by Microsoft as a key that was issued to a large, corporate customer. This key is reserved for the exclusive use of this customer, and cannot be used to install other copies of Microsoft Office.
Solution: If your computer belongs to a large organization and you believe you are receiving this message in error, talk to your system administrator.
If your computer does not belong to a large organization, you may be a victim of software counterfeiting. In that case, your best options to acquire genuine Microsoft Office are outlined on this Office Genuine Advantage web page. You can also contact the business where you purchased Office, purchased your computer with Office pre-installed, or had your computer serviced. Ask for their help to ensure that the copy of Office you purchased or received with the purchase of a new computer is genuine.
To uninstall Office products:
- Quit all Office programs.
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add or Remove Programs. (For Windows Vista, under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.)
- In the Currently installed programs list, locate and select products that did not pass validation
- Click Remove to remove the product(s) that you want to uninstall from the computer. (For Windows Vista, right-click product(s) and choose Uninstall.)

Hello allstatecanopies,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:
OGA Data-->
Office Status: 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Publisher 2002 - 100 Genuine
Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage - 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003 - 100 Genuine
OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
Signed By: Microsoft
Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-230-1Your Dell OptiPlex GX270 computer has three installations of Office-family products.
The installation of Office XP Professional w/Front Page is a widely pirated Volume Licensing edition of Office that has been blocked by Microsoft.
The installation of Publisher 2002 is a Volume Licensing edition that requires a current and valid Volume Licensing Agreement with Microsoft to use legitimately. It is unlikely that you have such an agreement; if not, then your use of this product is a nongenuine use.
The installation of Office Basic Edition 2003 is reporting as a Genuine installation of an OEM licensed product, which is exactly what we would expect if it came preinstalled when you bought the computer and this license for Office from Dell.
To correct this situation, go to the Add or Remove Programs applet in Control Panel and uninstall Office XP Pro w/Front Page and Publisher 2002. Restart the computer twice after uninstalling.
Then, visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on Validate Office. If all went well, your Office Basic 2003 should now validate normally.
Post back to let us know if it worked for you :-)

Hello allstatecanopies,
See if running the MS FixIt in this MS KB article takes care of the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971187
If the FixIt does not specifically tell you to restart the computer after it runs, restart the computer, then try uninstalling the two programs again.
Keep us posted :-)

I ran Ms Fixit twice then I downloaded MS FixIT to my computer and ran something again. I restarted the computer twice and the two programs still will not remove. The same error message comes up "The installation source for the product is not available. Verify the source exists then you can access it."
What can I do now to remove these programs?

My problem is not resolved. Please reply with another suggestion. Please help. Why is my post mark answered?

Hello allstatecanopies,
Your post is marked answered because the suggested solution will work to correct your nongenuine Office problems.
The problem you are having uninstalling the nongenuine Office and Publisher installations is not specific to Office Genuine Advantage (OGA), so by the rules of the forum there is not much help we can provide. Once you do eventually get Office XP and Publisher uninstalled, then if there are any further OGA issues you can come back here for more assistance.
I would suggest posting in the Office Answers forum which deals with general Office questions. Here's the link: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officeinstall/threads?lc=1033&filter=alltypes
