Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook Plugin Rollup 15 failed to install RRS feed

  • We have an organization of about 100 Dynamics CRM 2011 on-premise users. Currently we are all on the Roll-up 14 Outlook Client. For all of our users, somehow the update to roll-up 15 failed (through Windows Update).

    We are using Outlook 2010 on Office Professional Plus 2010 running on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  Please find attached the screenshot of the error after it failed the update:

    The error explanation is as follows:

    Could it be we have malware on all of our machines? I find that unlikely. Anybody here experienced something similar with Roll-up 15?
