    Hi Guys, i got my login details for Light Up Your College, but im not sure how to upload the files help me guys...

    if u use firefox then download fireftp plug-in & fill settings with ur login id & password and click connect button...

     

    if u do not use firefox, download good ftp uploader software & try to establish connection...

    Hi jayakumar

    Download Any FTP SOftware [  Like FileZilla ...etc ] login directly and upload from ur PC !! This is the easiest way ...,!!

    There are lots of Software available ! Search Google  .. For me Filezilla is the best !!

    ive tried Filezilla, SmartFTP, CuteFTP etc...but still im not able to login...wat shud b the host address http://203.199.114.131/ or http://203.199.114.131/(account_no) ....

    you should not use "http" in ftp clients  .... Also no need of login name in host address

    it goes like this !!

    address :: 203.199.114.131
    user name :: acc no
    password ::
    port :: 21( default )


    You can also try this in ur web browser::     ftp://<username>:<password>@203.199.114.131

    Also make sure that the Software is NOT BLOCKED by antiviruses and firewalls !!!

    Ya we can also use Your Browser and Windows Explorer can also be used !!

    Also there are online Ftp Clients like http://www.net2ftp.com ...

    mail to admin(given in the mail u get which contain ur id & pass) with attach the complete web project

     then after u can access ur website

    But they Told that Only Confirmation Should Be Send through that mail .., and not the Full site !! Not Sure , though !!
    Whats Difficult in uploading site through ftp by urself directly !
