What is the use of MANAGER field on user form of dynamic crm 2011 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    What is the use of Manager field in dynamic crm 2011 user form. Does it help in records visibility and it is OOB functionality?


    B is the manager of C and A is the manager of B. Then A should be able to see all the records from B and C. And B should be for C.

  • Hi,

    It does not help in record visibility, you can use this field to perform automatic workflow assignments, send email alerts, any custom logic that requirement it etc. and also can create views i.e. Manager can create views to see their direct reports activities, data, etc. It can be use to define organization departments employee hierarchy and offcourse you can sales goals performance and other important reports manager wise.

    *Record visibility is based on Security Roles configuration.
