Word 2010 - Pound sign not printing correctly RRS feed

    Hi,

    Recently upgraded from Word 2007 to Word 2010.  Using mail merge where the field content contains the £ sign and a value, the £ is being printed as an ascii character.

     

    How do I solve this?

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to move questions from MSDN to Answers, so you will need to re-post. When you post, would you be able to show what the "ascii character" is? It will probably also help people if you can describe what kind of data source this is (Word document, Excel sheet, Access database, whatever).
