CRM 4.0 and Windows Workflow Foundation 4.0 RRS feed

  • Question

  • MS has  completely rewritten workflow for the .Net 4 Framework. Does anyone knows how this will affect current workflow in CRM 4.0? Specifically for workflow plugins. Can I still be able to modify my 3.5 plugin workflow if I upgrade to .Net 4? Can I run a .Net 4 workflow plugin in CRM 4.0?  Should I install .Net Framework 4.0 on my CRM server? Any help is appreciated.  I am starting out with WF plugins in CRM and do not know if I should continue down the 3.5 .Net path or wait for 4.0 Net.

  • Hi Angel,

I would recommend that you don't build it in .net 4 workflow.  Simply CRM 4.0 still in the old .net 3.0 platform.  We don't know when CRM will support 4.0. May be in the next version. :)
