    I am new at Project Server 2010 and have been trying to figure out certain things.  Now I want to setup the approver for my resources, which I thought would be the same as the Timesheet Managers.  When I tried to check if this worked, I found that somehow the person that I assigned as the timesheet manager did not receive the approval message for the test I ran,  instead the approval showed in my Approval Center...   Would anyone please explain to me where do I set this up? is it within the workflows?

     

    I'll appreciate your help

    The person you as the Timesheet Manager for a user is the person who approves only the Timesheet submissions for that user.  If a PM adds the user to a project, assigns the user to tasks, saves and publishes the project, then that PM is the approver of task updates submitted in that project by the user.  Does that help sort things out for you?  Let us know and we will try to help.
