    It seems the NPS server is locked down in WHS Vail.. any chance this lock will be removed? that way we can use the internal radius server for wireless authentication services. Additional plugins could make it easier for customers to secure their WLAN..

     

    PS: the message is that no clients can be added (0x80070573) and this looks like the message we get on Windows 2008R2 standard when adding more than 50 clients to the NPS server..

    I would say the odds are between slim and none; Windows Home Server is not intended to be used as a replacement for Windows Server, and RADIUS authentication is not something that you see in the typical household. 

    That said, you should submit a product suggestion on Connect.

    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

    well, i'm not talking about adding 50 AP's in my household, but max 5 or so would be nice.. if anyone can also write a plugin to control the WLAN access i think it would be very nice to have in the household..

    I got the same error message while trying to setup the RADIUS server on WHS Vail.

    It is available in WHS 2003 and I hope it will be available in Vail as well when it is finally released.
