I bought the Genuine Advantage Windows XP Pro "package"
I got my email from Microsoft.
I created a Restore point
I uninstalled Norton Antivirus
I went to the location and download this file KeyUpdateTool.exe
I click Yes to continue to update my product key with the new key I got in the email.
Then I got the message:
The application has encountered an error while downloading required files from Microsoft. Please ensure the machine is connected to the Internet and try again [Error: 0x80004005]
I deleted the copies of KeyUpdateTool.exe and went back to my restore point.
Tried to download the update tool again - same result
Want do I do next?
