    Your copy of windows, one way or the other was not activated on the system that you have. Please try the following:

    1. Click the Start menu
    2. Click "Run..."
    3. Enter "%windir%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a"
    4. This will bring up a window titled "Activate Windows"
    5. Follow the steps it provides.

    This should let you activate Windows, which will cause the notifications to immediately cease. If you have any troubles, let us know.
