  • Hi,

    I passed the excel 2007 expert exam (exam 77-851).

     

    I have 2 questions.

     

    Question1:

    On my resume, in the professional qualification part, what I can write officially?

    For example:

    Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP): Excel 2007 Expert?

    Microsoft Office Expert: Excel 2007 Expert?

    Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Excel 2007 Expert?


    Question2:

    In my personal statement, what I can write officially?'

    For example:

    I am a Microsoft Certified Professional for Excel 2007 Expert?

    I am a Microsoft Office Expert for Excel 2007 Expert?

    Congrats on passing the exam (applause here ...)

    You have now the official credential: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Excel 2007 Expert

    This is what the official title is. For the second option there is not much difference but i like both and you know what either way you will make you point so pick you favorite. Officialy you have to use the same as the first one. You can also look at the certificate which you will receive because that will be the proof of you passing the  exam.

    On to the next one ;-)

    On my certificate, there is such a sentence:

    will free has succesfully completed the requirements to be recognized as a Microsoft Office Specialist Exprt for Office Excel (R) 2007 Expert.

  • hi trip_to_tokyo,

     

    My job requires those skills.

    So, I understand most of advanced features before I decided to take the exam.

    Nevertheless I bought a book about pivot table, as 2003 and 2007 are quite different.

     

    What I suggest is that in order to pass, you relly need to use those skills, such as conditional format, in your company/office, for no less than 6 months.

    In fact, Mircosoft suggests 1 year.
