Google Migration to Microsoft

Question
-
Hi Guys,
We currently utilise Google G Suite for our emails/contacts/calendars which we keep having issues with and as a result are looking to migrate to Microsoft Exchange, we have a maximum of 45 users and each has a 30GB storage limit.
As part of the migration we would like to increase each users limit to 60GB and are looking at two options.
Option 1
Host the Exchange server/s in house within our server room, we currently have BT Infinity Fibre (70MB download and 20MB upload).
We have 1GB SFP modules on our switches.
Backup the server at our remote site which would house a suitable NAS drive, this also has BT Infinity Fibre (70MB download and 20MB upload).
Option 2
Host the Exchange server/s in the cloud or use Microsoft 365
Please could you advise on the pro’s and con’s of each of these options.
For our size of organisation, what is generally the route most often taken in your experience?
Thanks in advance- Moved by Dave PatrickMVP Tuesday, October 20, 2020 8:03 PM looking for forum
