non-hub PC gives error message RRS feed

  • My laptop, which is part of my onecare circle, gives me the message ""Windows Live OneCare has encountered a problem and needs to close." I just removed it from my circle and tried to add it again. I went to "help" and it said to "Examine the Actions to take notices for the computers that are listed for your circle. Under the name of the computer that you want to perform an action on, in the Actions to take notice, click the appropriate action button." I could not find any links to select under the " action" page.

    How do i manage a one of my PC's from my hub computer????

  • You can't add the PC from the Hub, but you can remove it, which you did. To add it back in, you need to activate OneCare on the laptop with your subscription LiveID as removing it from the Circle caused it to become unsubscribed. You may need to reinstall OneCare on the laptop to do this.

    As for the original problem on the laptop, it may have been a problem with the date and time, which when incorrect can cause the error you encountered.
