    The search and indexing function in Windows 7 is not working.  I tried a number of suggestions posted on various sites to correct this but nothing works.  Recently I looked at the event log and noticed hundreds of search errors with the code 0x800705b4.  Upon closer inspection, it appears that the event log errors are about four minutes apart.  They seem to have started about August 8, 2012.  I also tried to rebuild the index but it just wiped out what indexed items already exisited.  Any suggestions on how to get the indexing and search function working again?
