Cannot connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server because we cannot authenticate your credentials:::: Outlook client for CRM2011 RRS feed

  • Hi,
    I can not able to configure Outlook client for CRM2011.
    when i provide credentials to configure organization wizard i am getting this error.

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM
    ---------------------------
    Cannot connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM server because we cannot authenticate your credentials. Check your connection or contact your administrator for more help.
    ---------------------------
    OK   
    ---------------------------
    any suggestions??
    And one more thing, I am getting this error after configuring IFD for CRM2011.

  • Hi Everyone,

    This issue is because of the the duplicate SPN records, i have removed all the duplicate SPN and i can able to configure Outlook client without issues.

  • Hi Khaja,

    "Cannot authenticate your credentials", Is this happens only in one machine or all?

    I've seen this when you have Windows Live Essentials and Windows Live Sign-In Assistant installed in the the same computer.

    Possible resolution could be to,

    • Run a repair on both (OR)
    • Uninstall Both 

    And try again!

  • I think i understand the issue,

    I feel like its a certificate issue, right now i am using Self-Signed certificate.

    I will get public certificate and let you guys know the issue.
