CRM 4.0 LoadBalance with Cisco content switch RRS feed

  • Does anybody have experiences with configuration Loadbalanced CRM solutions via Cisco content switch. what advanteges or disadvantages this solution have. Or if this configuration is not allowed.

  • Hardware load balancing is used quite often with larger customers and works fine.  Some have found that persistence (or sticky-ip) config can help make the environment a little more stable, but some have had success wtihout persistence as well.

    For higher volume throughput, a hardware solution tends to be more stable than a software solution.  You can also leverage some capabilities of the hardware solution to enable things like SSL terminiation on the appliance instead of isntalling certs on the servers themselves.
