  • hi guys, what is the pre requisite for Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration?

I found this on MS web, it says that candidate should at least able to handle 250 users or more? But if you just handle less than 250 users does it mean that the person should not take this certification or what? Any enlightenment adn advise is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

  • This is only a "suggestion" as to the type of candidate that is being addressed with this certification. You can actually take the exam without ever having administered a real network. You can study the training materials, and practice on a simulated environment installed in virtual machines hosted in your own personal computer. If you apply yourself and study the subject matter, you can pass the exam perfectly well even if you never handled a single real user in a production network.
