Completed 70-562 but didn't got the Certificate RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I cleared my MCTS 70 -562 exam on 14th march 2013 ,all my friends who gave the exam with me got transcipt as well as the certificate but i only got the transcript ..thought in my account it's showing 562 in the list of cleared exams.

when i contacted the regional education help desk of Microsoft they told that in order to get the certificate i need to clear 70-536 ..is it true ?
if yes then how my other frnds who wrote only 562 got the certificate ??

Also i have cleared 70-480 before and in the new transcript i got for 562 was similar to the previous one like 480 ,just course name (562) was added in the list of pass exam ..

    anyone having an idea,please help

    Regards,

    Anurag

  • Hi,

Yes, you also need 70-536 for MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications.

Exam 70-562 and 70-536 will retire on 31 July 2013 you need to pass 70-537 before 31 July if you want to achieve this certification.

There is a new MCSD track now with new updated exams http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/mcsd-certification.aspx#fbid=jMR2BcqA6nQ
