    How to clear an unknown(set by strangers) BIOS password ?? please suggest.My pc was bios locked  by my brother.

    Better ask ur brother !!!  If not

      There are utilities designed to help bypass BIOS passwords. An example of a great utility to decrypt / bypass BIOS passwords is the PC BIOS Security and Maintenance toolkit.

    arre yaar go for simple things.
    just open up your cabinet & remove the bios battery(if you don't have BIOS settings JUMPER)

    I've searched for 'PC BIOS Security and Maintenance toolkit' and can find no link? Computer Hope's website has a link to it but, it doesn't work? As I have a Dell Laptop with a locked BIOS, i need it a.s.a.p.. Does anyone have a valid link to download this Application please? Cheers, John

    2 easy ways.

    One already mentioned - Remove the battery for some time.

    Other is a bit complicated, and for experts, Reset the BIOS by short circuiting the jumpers, This is not advisable by newbies.

    All you need to do is simply open the cabinate find the battry usually near to the battry you will find a jumper just remove it and put it next to the pins from where you have taken it out and remove the battery and ram for some time and then put back every thing except jumper and start the system it will give an error and in end write default settings reloded.There your job is done.

    Yeah removing the battery or using jumper is the only solution.

    In both the cases u hav to open ur cabinet,,,

    Dude the person who have a brand new laptop and in which BIOS password is enabled how will he remove the battery....
