Streets and Trips 2011 won't install on Windows 10

  When trying to install Streets and Trips 2011 on Windows 10 laptop the following message appears "one of the prerequisite components failed to install setup will now exit.

  When responding to a post by Ramona 1945, tsandme2 said " I had to have Microsoft install the hot patch to get it past the initialization error."

  My question is how do I get this patch?  I am not inclined to pay Microsoft for a service call.

  I want this question to go to the Streets and Trips Forum, but I can't find that forum listed.  Any help in directing me would be appreciated.
