Calendar not syncing on phone

Question
-
Within the past week, my AT&T Tilt Phone w/ WM6.1 and ActiveSync, stopping syncing calendar items from my Tilt to my exchange server. Calendar items from exchange server to Tilt will sync. Have soft and hard reset Tilt. Have deleted partnership on Tilt w. exchange server to no avail. I do not connect my Tilt with my pc, only connect to exchange server. When I add a calendar item on Tilt, it will try to sync and will continue trying to sync, thus draining the battery. E-mail, contacts and tasks all sync properly. Need assistance, please!

If you are experiencing time differences on appointments in Outlook, you may want to apply the Daylight Savings Update.
You can find information about exact dates and the potential impact to your time zones in the Changes In Windows Mobile Daylight Saving Time section.
Please note that even though it might seem like a lot of information to read through, we recommend, as with any update, that it is a good idea to read all the information before beginning the update. There are installation tips and an FAQ in the links.

we are having the exact same issue. Our company has 10ish Tilts w/ AT&T, we also have a client on a completely seperate exchange server with 4 Tilts w/ AT&T. All of our calendars stopped syncing phone to exchange server within the last week or two. We have another employ using an HTC Fuse and he says his is still working fine (i haven't confirmed this personally though).
I too have hard reset/reconfigured my phone from scratch and the issue still exists. I tested creating an appointment on my phone and then removed my exchange connection. Exchange instantly deleted all apointments from the device except for the test one i created, so i think the issue is that new appointments are being automaticly stored localy on the phone instead of being synced with exchange. It would seem like an exchange issue but if its only happening with Tilts it might be something hardware related.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know, we use our phones for calendar updates daily and this is not helping anything...
thanks in advance

I've been messing with this all day and i may have found a fix... let me know if this works for you.
Open your phone/dialpad. menu > Options > Time Zones > Uncheck automaticI did the switch time zones thing (pacific to hawaii and back) after that but i'm not sure if its needed. Tested it at this point and it worked, reset the phone and it still works so i'm hoping...Tuesday, November 18, 2008 2:13 AM -
I've had the same problem for some time now.
It wasn't always so...
I still suspect our IT administrators cocked something up.
The time zone setting (> Options > Time Zones > Uncheck automatic) and switch didn't work for me.
I switched from unchecked to checked and back again.
BTW we're running on Exchange Server 2003.Friday, November 21, 2008 1:17 PM -
I think it is actually a problem with Daylight savings time ending and Exchange Calandar events.
Do the unchecking of the automatic time zone and then change your time zone using the Clock and Alarms to another time zone and then back. This allowed the items I had on the phone to sync with our Exchange server.
So:
Step 1
Uncheck the time zone (Phone > Menu > Options > Time Zones > Uncheck "Automatic change time zone and clock")
Step 2
Reset Time Zone (Settings > System > Clocks and Alarms > Change Time Zone setting > Then reset back to correct Time Zone)
Hopefully this will work for you as it worked for me.Tuesday, December 2, 2008 3:52 PM -

It does seem to work briefly but soon reverts back to the same problem.
A mate of mine had a similar problem on WM5 and his exchange administrator (2003) sorted it out by installing a patch on the mail server. I will get more info and post it when available.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this? I have a client with a Palm Centro. Exchange ActiveSync will sync e-mail and contacts, and if I make any appointments on the phone, they push to Outlook. However, appointments made within Outlook or Outlook Web Access will not push to the phone, nor do the existing appointments. Supposedly, when Palm created a username/mailbox on their Exchange server, they were able to set Versamail to sync everything with no issues at all. We are running a Small Business Server with Exchange 2003 SP2 on it. We've spent waaaaaay too many hours trying to get this to work. It's very frustrating, and I would appreciate any insight anyone has to offer. Thanks!!Wednesday, January 14, 2009 1:34 AM

The option to sync my calendar and contacts disappeared from both my handheld and Windows Mobile Device Center. I discounted the handheld from the computer. Deleted the sync relationship from the Windows Mobile Device Center. Reconnected my handheld which removed all the synced data on the handheld. Windows automatically recognized the new connection and had me create a relationship. With the new relationship, I was able to now select the calendar and contacts. It took a while, but everything finally synced back to my handheld. Hope that helpsTuesday, June 2, 2009 9:33 PM
