Validation of Office purchase RRS feed

  • Question

  • So, if Microsoft is so happy to help me get my office validated, why do they offer me higher prices on their validation website? Buying it from a good shop will be as much as 20% cheaper!!!!

Just another Theft process underway!!!! As if having The microsoft Cash cow virus is not enough, now I have to get over charged too!

  • Hello Peter510,

If you are being told that your Office installation is nongenuine, please run the diagnostic utility described and linked in the forum announcements and post the results in a reply for further assistance.

If your installed Office is failing to validate, you may want to read the FAQs here:  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/OGAKitInformation.aspx?displaylang=en

If you are shopping for a replacement for an installation of Office that is failing to validate, please take all necessary steps to ensure that the copy Office being sold to you at prices cheaper that what Microsoft is offering is a Genuine retail license for Office.  Assuming that you are being offered Genuine retail copy of Office, to paraphrase Lee Iacocca, "If you can find a cheaper Office, Buy It!"

Also, be aware that there are several "flavors"of Office each with their own pricing level.
