  • Help please.  I have a new flashing icon on my start up menu at bottom of computer.  It takes me to a site that tells me I have harmful spyware on my computer and should download this software:  spylocked?  I cannot get rid of it.  PLEASE ADVISE.

Here at this page a tool recommeded worked for several..

     http://spywaresignatures.com/forums/viewtopic.php?name=&t=185

This is a free tool to remove spylocked 3.1 and 3.6 versions.. Best of all. no ads, no popups, no banners, no email registrations, no payments.. absolutly free of cost.. see if it helps you out,

Well I also know of another free tool, if you dont have one care.... thats super antispyware

    www.superantispyware.com

I came to know about it from Eric Howes list of trust worthy antispyware apps here

    http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#trustworthy

Mentioned on the page above aswell

  • please be advised not everything about spylocked can be removed by tool above... please still visit your add/remove program ( for things you dont recognize ) this tool takes cares of the prompt and the file causing it to launch itself but doesnt remove the return point of it or so chances to acquire it again.

  • Hello Milo.

You seem to have used it already Smile

Any info about the return points of the tool?

there is a feedback page at this tool.. as this is the only tool i have seen has no pro version ( asking for money) and also no ads or additional installs etc... i guess if it is lacking something i would like to have the company informed about it.

may be they can add that part of signatures aswell.

( i assumed you are talking about the tool at www.spywaresignatures.com )

Or you meant about any other one... personally i like SuperAntiSpyware.

But the first one is a lite weight so..

    neways.. waiting for your comments..

    Regads..
