Video / Audio Bridging RRS feed

  • Question

  • I see some posts from 2007, but I wanted to double check. Is there a way to use OCS as a video / audio conference bridge?

  • OCS R2 includes dial-in audio conferencing, so yes on that.  As for video the answer is also yes though only if the clients are running Windows since this functionality is provided through the Live Meeting and/or Communicator clients which are currently Windows-only.

  • Yes, you need a Mediation server for any PSTN integration scenario.

  • So if we want audio bridging, we need R2. If we do a standard deployment, does that require a mediation server?
