  • Question

  • Hi Moderators, could someone please explain why my last post "Excel Services should support data validations  (at least read-only)!?" was deleted?
Just wanted to know if any other out there also thinks this feature is important and provide the link to ms connect to enable feedback, is this forum not the correct place for that?

  • !? in the Title was the reason for the deletion.

One of many tricks for trying to attract attention to posts that I list in my sticky post at the top of the general and setup/admin forums as not being acceptable in Titles in the SP forums (now pre-SharePoint 2010 forums)

    - one or more exclamation marks

    - more than one ?

    - .... at end of Title.

    - urgent

    and so on.

Now moving to off-topic, where you can see the reply but where it will not be in the Excel Services forum.

  • I usually try to just remove the offending character(s) at least the first time from someone but I'm on holiday so I'm using the quickest methods at the moment (to make up for the lack of time and the lack of my usual fast INet connection).
