    When I try to open Access 97 I get the 
    following error....A system error occured, or there isn't 
    enough free memory to start Microsoft Access

    Well...first....this forum relates to questions on Microsoft Certifications.

    Second....what OS and what type of system are you running Access 1997 on?  You realize Access 1997 is WAY out of date, right?
