Turn Around RRS feed

  • What kind of turn-around time should we anticipate on this forum? I used the Partner Community for Dynamics GP ideas in the past. Turn-around was usually less that a day. Turn-around here seems a bit slower. How long has this been running for Dynamcs GP. What is the mission?

  • Turnaround varies from forum to forum.

    Whereas Partner Groups had (have?) fixed Microsoft support people who had to reply within a certain period, only some forums have MS support people and I'm not sure if they have the same requirement for quick responses. Possibly not because in the public forums they are mainly there to help the normal users who reply in the forums. This wasn't the case in the Partner groups as far as I can remember where they were the main repliers to questions.

    There's also slower response over the weekend and the weekend can often stretch over additional days if there are public holidays like Thanksgiving which take away a lot of potential responders.

    As for how it is in the Dynamics GP forums, you'll have to ask there.
