  • Question

  • Hi All,

I created report in Visual Studio 2008 to highlight appointments which goes out by email. Now that report goes out, how can I make it so that when user gets the email they can click on any appointment and it will open in CRM?

  • Are you emailing the report our from SSRS after a snapshot is created in CRM?  If so, when making the configurations in SSRS, there is an option that allows the users to be able to click in the reports or to send it as a pdf, etc.  Also, they will need to be users in CRM because the report will need to connect to CRM, authenticate the user and retrieve the data.

  • Hi ,

I'm using this kind of navignation between SSRS reports and salesforece CRM.

If you want to navigate on home page of CRM then this is very easy.

Step1: In Report,on Textbox (where the appointment is mentioned ) Right Cick - > Textbox Properties
    Step2: Action Tab
    Step3: Go to URL
Step4: Type your home Page URL of CRM in Select URL.
in case you want to navigate on appoitnment page in CRM then you can Type your URL according to appointmentid.
Like we are basically navigating baesd on LeadID
            So We use "https://www.homePageLeadid=" +Fields!Leadid.Value
    Step5 : ok
