Vista Not Genuine, Build 6002. Bought with Vista pre loaded (HP laptop) Help RRS feed

  • I also have a similar Vista not genuine problem.  I don't have the windows key because it was already loaded on my laptop when I bought it.  Here's the diagnostic report.  Help please!

    For some reason your PC is unable to properly read the SLIC table in the BIOS, which is preventing the system from properly self-activating.
    The solution is to change the Product Key to the one on your COA Sticker, using the link at the bottom of the System Properties page.
    You may well need to activate by telephone afterwards.
