TS = Technology Specialist
MCTS Exams are prerequisities for IT PRO exams.
MCTS exams are more focused on operations
MCITP are focused on design, architecture etcYou can check the certification requirements on microsoft.com/learning

Hi,
like said above TS stands for Technology Specialist.
There are several TS exams available. Normally the Pro exams are the last step to earn a MCPD or MCITP certification (after taking several TS exams).The main difference is that aTS exam gives you a MCTS certification (there are some exceptions, like the 70-536 exam). Pro exam does not give you any certification (except you have passed all prerequisites exams for the appropriate MCPD/MCITP certification).
