Genuine Windows 7 Professional showing up as "Not Genuine"

Question
-
As of this afternoon i received a "this copy of windows is not genuine" pop up. My Windows 7 professional was pre-installed on my dell latitude E6400 at time of purchase. I purchased the computer new from Duke University. I do not have a COA sticker on the computer. (It didn't come with one). Ran the MGADiag that I found from another question thread on this forum however, I can't simply copy the info (unless its being copy as .dat file which i can't open). I still have the reinstallation DVD Windows Vista that came with the computer. Never opened it until now but don't want to reinstall in fear of losing any previous documents on my computer.Saturday, December 10, 2011 7:02 PM

You are using a KMS key, which requires activation on the university's servers. Contact the program admin at Duke.
