Error importing solution into CRM 2011 On-Premise with RU12 RRS feed

  • Importing a CRM solution in CRM 2011 On-premise with RU12, does not leave the import window, remains indefinitely on importing

    This issue does not happen in the Online version, the solution is successfully imported, only fails in On-premise.

    Enabling Trace in CRM i can see this error:

    We got the same symptoms with you. When we try to import updated solution, it showed the same issues with you.

    Finally we were able to import updated solution in CRM RU12  by using BIG Memory resource (20G) for CRM Server. It seems there is a leaking memory consumption for re-importing the huge solution. We are not sure, this is a know problem or not.

    I have the same problem. My solution is realy small (2 reports), but I receive the same error. I havn't find any solution yet. If you resolve it, let me know.

  • Hi,

    I spent long time investigation of this issue. At the end I found that we had CRM assemblies microsoft.crm.sdk.proxy.dll in GAC. When I replaced this assembly by new version from last SDK, import customization start working.
