Is mt Office genuine?

Question
-
I received a notification that my copy of office 2007 was not genuine, so, I purchased a sealed copy of office 2007 on e-bay, but having uninstalled the original one (a gift from a friend), and then re-installed the new one I am still getting a notification that it is not genuine?
The report below shows the diognostics?
If the new copy I purchased on e-bay is also not genuine, I need to send this back, but I wonder if this is a software glitch from the original copy or the new one is also not OK?
Any advice please?
Thanks
Alan

Hello alaneshaw,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

When a nongenuine Office installation is uninstalled and a genuine Office installation of the same exact edition and sales channel is installed, the Office license file leftover from the nongenuine Office installation could cause the OGA Notifier to think the nongenuine Office is still installed. (This situation is easily addressed by deleting the old license file, whereupon Office will generate a new one.)
However, given the status being reported in the snippet above, as well as additional data showing in the "Other Data" section of the report, that is not the situation in your case. Unfortunately, it looks like you inadvertently purchased a counterfeit copy of Office from eBay. :-(
Your computer does have a nongenuine Volume Licensing installation of Office Professioanal Plus 2007 and this installation was done with an Invalid Volume Licensing product Key. An Invalid Volume Licensing Product Key is one that was generated by software pirates using a program called a key generator, or KeyGen for short. This product key was never officially issued by Microsoft, making it Invalid.
Our standard advice applies: Your first course of action is to confront your seller with this information and demand a full refund.
If the seller refuses to help, please file a piracy report at www.microsoft.com/piracy. Also, depending upon whether you received "high quality" counterfeit materials, you may qualify for the Office Complimentary Offer or for the Office Genuine Advantage discounted offer. Please see the FAQ here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC If you think that you qualify for the Genuine Office Offer, apply for the Offer thru the Learn More Online link that the OGA Notifier is displaying.
