Try using the Windows Product Key Update Tool to enter the Windows XP Professional product key that originally came with your Dell computer.

Hello zara7,
Please follow Carey's advice to try to run the Product Key Updater Utility: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=45668 It will scan your system to check for hacked and cracked Windows Operating System files and if it finds none, it will try to convert your nongenuine volume licensing installation to a genuine OEM licensed installation of XP Pro. It can do this because your computer has a CoA for XP Pro on it, and you will use the product key printed on the CoA when the updater ask for a new product key.
Regarding Office, have you found any Office materials such as one or more hologrammed installation discs, any sort of Office packaging, etc?

Hello Zara7,
Does your Dell computer have a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) affixed to it for Windows? If so tell us the version and edition of Windows listed on the CoA, and if it has Dell printed on it, but don't post the product key.
Note that your installation of Office XP Professional is also reporting as nongenuine. Do you have genuine Microsoft installation discs and a Certificate of Authenticity for Office XP Pro as well?
