Remove entire window registry and replace with exported saved reg file

Question
-
Anyone knows if it's possible to fully remove all window registry and replaced it with a saved registry.
*This would not merge or replace the existing*
I installed a few application and uninstalled them.To keep my registry clean and prevent it from cluttered up, i thought it would be easy to remove the entire registry and copy over the clean copy of registry i had saved after a clean installation copy of window os.
I would not try registry cleaners because it could remove other registry too.
Any suggestion or advice will be appreciated.

No, that isn't possible with a REG file. You may be able to backup/restore the registry via system state or other means depending on the operating system.
You can ask more details over here.
