Accounts No Orders in Last 18 Months RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all! Help please: What are the exact filter criteria for the Public View: Accounts: No Orders in Last 6 Months? For some reason I cannot base a new Advanced Find search on that saved view because it is not listed in the Use Saved View option set. I need to copy that and create another view but this time for 18 months. Appreciate your help guys! Super!

  • Hi,

Accounts View No Order in Last 6 Months is a special view and does not allow the criteria to be cusotmized it uses the Query API instead of the FetchXml and you can not cusotmized or create any view llike it with the standard cusotmization or development. You may use the following workaround to create your own view for No Order from a Specific Time or Duration:

    1. Cretae new DateTime field LastOrderDate in Order Entity

    2. Create a new worflow for Order entity it will run on Record creation or Either Record Status Change

    3. Add Step Update Record, choose Account entity in entity list and click on set properties and update the Account entity field LastOrderDate with the Current Workflow date time or Order time (if using Order Status chane then also add a condition to check if Order Status Equals Fullfilled)

    4. Create a new view in Accoutn Entity and now filter accounts by LastOrderDate field as per required

You can also run the workflow OnDemand to run it on exsisting Accounts to populate the  LastOrderDate field value but in this case make sure to use Order Date Time in Step 3 instead of workflow execution time.
