Data not refreshing with IE RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is an ASP/ADO/IE Access back-end problem. When client-side adds a new record, it won't read back until the browser is closed and re-opened. This only occurs with IE - not with Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc. However, with IE, if the same table is accessed via a stored query, in the same session, the data is there, the first time. If more data is added, the query doesnt see it either. This suggests to me that the Data is read once and once only from each apparently different datasource, despite closing all recordsets and connections and reopening. Suggestions please.

  • Hello Denis,

Since your issue is related with ADO and IE, I suggest that you could post it to the IE forum or sqldataaccess forum according to this link.

This current forum is for issues regarding Data platform development using ADO.NET managed providers, especially System.Data.SqlClient, System.Data.Odbc and System.Data.Oledb.

    Best Regards,

    Fred.
