Look @ your Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker which should be located on your computer. What was the orginal software installed? Also have you tried contacting HP and asking them if you can purchase the tablet version?

Microsoft Windows XP is now in extended support, so you can no longer buy it from a Retail store. OEM/System Builder Licenses are still availibe, until January 31, 2009. You can find it on Live PRoducts or Google Shopping.
