My excel 2010 keeps crashing

  As per other people, my excel 2010 keeps crashing. It is genuine and it is mine. It happens when I try to save. Sometimes I don't even make a change, I have just opened it, hit save and it crashes. I am luck to get anything saved. I have read many forums and safe mode makes no difference, there aren't any add-ins. I have re-installed it. There must be something and why is there so many people having this problem?
