What is difference between tlink.exe and task.exe

  Hi ,

  I have winxp OS sp3 installed on my machine. I have one script which installs a software. This script requires tlist.exe file on the system. When I did search for this file, I could not find this tlist.exe instead I found tasklist.exe in windows/system32. The suboptions for these two commands are different. So to achieve certain task using tlist for e.g. tlist -p java, how can I use tasklist ?
