Sync Toy identifies difference in file times, some different by 1 hour exactly, some by 2 seconds exactly RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've just started to use Sync Toy to sync picture files between several computers, using an external HDD.   I noted my first sync took a long time, with a lot of file overwrites. On doing my second sync I noted a large number of files which had time differences of exactly one hour (in all other respects they were the same file, I had not made any changes).   Similarly a large number of files with a time difference of exactly 2 seconds.    These had all started off as the same files.   Any ideas on what I may have done to slightly change the time signature on the original files when transferring between computers?   What should have been quite a simple and quick sync job relating to those few files that have changed has turned into a 5-6 hour extravaganza, since the majority of files (I'm handling a database of approx 13,000) appear to have this slight time change.
