Health monitoring for Web services RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

Once the web service (can be WCF or Web API) deployed to production it is important to monitor and send alerts.

    Is the AppFabric right solution?

Tracing and Logging in WCF or Web API couldn't help in n-Tier apps.

Would appreciate help in any free or Microsoft tools that are part of frameworks.

  • Hi Sukumar,

Thank you for posting in the MSDN forum.

Based on your description, I’m afraid that it is not the correct forum, since this forum is to discuss the VS debugger issue. It seems that you have posted the similar issue here, so I will move this issue to the Off-topic forum, thanks for your understanding.

In addition, if you want to get the monitoring tool for the Web services, if possible, you could post this issue to the specific development forum, and maybe you would get better solution, for example, the ASP.net forum or the WCF forum.

    Have a nice weekend,
